Measured ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, and share personal information through our platform at bemeasured.ai and any related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
When you use our Services, we may collect personal information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number, your username and login credentials, your company name and job title, and records of communications with us such as support requests or feedback. When you visit or use our Services, we also automatically collect certain information including your device's IP address, browser type, and operating system, the website you visited before navigating to ours, pages viewed, features used, time spent, and clickstream data, and the date and time of access. We use this information to operate and improve our Services and to deliver a better experience. We may also collect information using cookies and similar technologies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser while persistent cookies remain until you delete them, and both help us provide a more personalized experience. Pixel tags (web beacons) in pages and emails help us measure engagement and traffic, and we may use third-party analytics services that use cookies to collect and analyze usage data and report on trends. Most browsers let you decline cookies in your settings; if you do, some features of our Services may not work properly. We do not currently respond to browser Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform industry standard for DNT has been finalized. If such a standard is adopted that we are required to follow, we will update this Policy accordingly.

We may also generate de-identified or aggregated data, which we may use and share for any purpose.
3. Basis for Processing Your Information
We collect and process your personal information on the following grounds: consent — where you have given us specific permission to use your information for a stated purpose; legitimate interests — where processing is necessary to achieve our reasonable business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to fulfill our obligations to you under an agreement.
4. How We Share Personal Information
We may share your information with service providers — vendors and contractors who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, customer support), who are only permitted to use your data to perform services on our behalf; in connection with business transactions such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets; for legal and safety purposes — to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of the Company, our users, or others; and with your consent where you have authorized a specific disclosure. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Enterprise Customers and End Users
Our Services are designed for use by enterprise customers ("Subscribers"). Where our Services are made available to end users (such as borrowers or participants) through a Subscriber, the Subscriber is the data controller for those end users' personal information. End users with questions or requests about their personal data should contact the Subscriber directly. We are not responsible for Subscribers' privacy or security practices. Subscribers are solely responsible for ensuring their use of our Services complies with all applicable laws and their own privacy obligations to end users.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights with respect to your personal information: access — you can request to know what personal information we hold about you; correction — you can ask us to update or correct inaccurate information; deletion — you can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions; portability — you can request a copy of your information in a structured, machine-readable format; restriction — you can ask us to limit how we process your information in certain circumstances; and objection — you can object to our processing of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@bemeasured.ai. If you would like to stop receiving marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; opting out of marketing will not affect transactional or administrative messages. If you have turned on text message (SMS) notifications, you can stop them at any time by replying STOP to any message or by turning SMS off in your account's notification settings. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of our Services.
7. California Residents (CCPA)
We currently do not meet the thresholds that would make us subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, we respect California residents' privacy interests. Upon request, we will tell you the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business purpose for collecting it, the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you. 8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however. If you believe your interaction with us has been compromised, please notify us immediately at privacy@bemeasured.ai.
10. Children
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Third-Party Services
This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that our Services may link to. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. The inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
